Use all the surfaces of your foot. Most often you will be using the front portion of your instep, especially when you are dribbling at speed. However, to become a good dribbler of the ball make sure you are adept at using the outside and inside of both feet. This way you can cut the ball away from pressure and keep control of the ball no matter where the defensive pressure comes from. You can also use both sides of your foot, like a hockey player's stick.

Core Soccer Skills are very important

Simple skills are not being taught correctly at a young age. This problem exists because most clubs have to rely on volunteer parent coaches with no experience or coaching education.  We are here to help resolve that issue and help give core  fundimental skills that every player  should know.
From about age 6  a child can focus and pick up the major important skills with practice and repitition. We at Champion soccer skills will train players ages 6 & up with moves like cryuff, scissors, stepovers, pull back and turn, lunge, and many other moves. We will also work on the players first touch which is exptremely important in the game of soccer. The first touch gives a player time and space in which to move with the ball or find the best pass.
Juggling the ball is  a very important part of developing your touch. Practice makes Perminent.
